"Iroful" means "colorful," substituting the English word "color" for the Japanese word "iro." Accordingly, this new paper from Sakae TP—the originator of the hugely popular Tomoe River paper before its move to Sanzen—aims to bring out colors' full depth and vibrance with crisp lines and excellent shading and sheening for fountain pen inks. Iroful paper has a somewhat soft feeling and slight texture, and the 75 g/m thickness reduces ghosting and show through.

Thoughtfully designed for organization and everyday creativity, this notebook features numbered pages and a front index system that makes it easy to track meeting notes, projects, recipes, journal entries, and ideas. Unique diagonal page numbers allow the notebook to be used comfortably in either portrait or landscape orientation.

Inside, subtle gray 5 mm grid lines and a flexible composition header line provide structure without limiting your writing style. DAIGO’s original cream-colored paper delivers a smooth writing experience with excellent resistance to bleed-through and ghosting, making it ideal for fountain pens and everyday writing tools alike.

The durable semi-transparent polypropylene cover resists scratches while allowing for easy personalization with stickers or inserts beneath the cover. Expertly thread-bound in DAIGO’s factory in Japan, the notebook opens fully flat at 180° for a seamless writing experience.
